Originally built in 1997 to San Lorenzo’s legendary standards, this 72 Flybridge had an extensive refit completed in 2018 bringing her up to today’s modern yachting standards.
Featuring solid construction, an elegant interior and a generous layout for 8 guests, Barbarossa Moratti is maintained to an excellent condition by her professional crew.
A full beam midships owners suite has a luxurious ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. 2 separate twin cabins are forward, each with ensuite bathroom and then further towards the bow a VIP cabin with another large double bed and ensuite bathroom. Crew accommodation (2 single berths) is in the bow.
The main deck features a large, teak-decked aft terrace with dining table for 6 people. Steps lead down to the swim platform, and guests can walk from the terrace to the bow in comfort, where there is a large space for entertaining as well as ample seating with huge sunloungers.
Stepping through the sliding doors into the large, air-conditioned salon with wrap around settee, bar, satellite TV, stereo and formal dining for 8 passengers. A separate, well equipped galley allows for catering to all tastes, and forward of the galley is the bridge with the main helm station.
Arguably the SL 72’s best feature is the long and wide flybridge which is accessed from the salon. A bimini provides comfort from the elements, and another large settee and wet bar allows guests to relax in luxury with the best view, while the captain operates the second helm on the flybridge. Aft of the seating, there is a crane and davits to launch the tender or jetski, as preferred by the new owner.
