“Happiness” is a Grady White 208 Adventure, a 6.2m cuddy cabin/centre console fishing boat built in 2000 and still in very good condition today.
Happiness has a swim platform either side of the outboard, starboard side swim platform has a 3 step ladder installed.
Fitted with a Yamaha 200hp outboard with only 400 hours since it was bought new in 2015, the engine has been well maintained to date. This powerful motor means Happiness will easily cruise at 20+ knots and max speed is around 32 knots. Balancing the boat with all your friends and freshly caught fish on board is easy thanks to the 2 Bennett hydraulic trim tabs installed.
Grady White boats are built for saltwater exploring and fishing. The hull design gives a good ride, the sharp bow pierces through the waves and does not slap up and down on the sea despite the relatively short boat length.
The open cockpit is large with plenty of space for all your bait, rods, tackle, coolers etc. It’s covered by a hard-top over the helm and forward seating area, with a canvas bimini extended from the hard top to the transom. Camper canvas sides and rear are included (but not installed in the photos).
The cockpit has seating for 6, with loads more space for moving around at sea. The centre console cabin layout gives you 360 degree access all around the boat so you can comfortably walk up to the bow from either side and all the way round to the stern again.
There is a live bait well on the port side with water pump to keep your prawns alive, and a livewell on the starboard side to hold your catch.
The helm station is well laid out with Raymarine chartplotter with depth, fish-finder and GPS installed, a VHF radio, JBL bluetooth stereo and the usual throttle, trim tab and anchor windlass controls.
The owner has installed a 100w solar panel which can keeps the batteries topped up while out at sea so you can still use all electronics on board without running the engine.
The cabin is a good space for storage, or sleeps 2 people on the V-berth. There’s even a porta-potti marine toilet in the cabin too.
